Pam loves hiking and wants to climb mountains well into her 60’s! Hiking is her thing but she was worried about her knees. With every passing year her weight was increasing & her legs were weakening. She was frightened she wouldn’t be able to continue doing what she loved if she didn’t take control back over her health & strength.
Working full time and renovating her home she didn’t have hours to spend meal prepping. She knew she had improvements to make with her vegan diet and wanted a sustainable change she could stick too while not feeling chained to the kitchen.
We identified that Nutrition coaching, combined with Strength Training would make up the cornerstone of her transformation. For her legs to continue climbing mountains she had to work on strengthening her weak knees and hips.
Over the course of 6 months we worked closely together to address all aspects of Pam’s life. Identifying habits, creating new routines, looking at her mindset & finally teaching her the basics of nutrition so she was empowered with the knowledge of how to eat in a way that builds strength, boost metabolism & supports fat loss flexibly.

In 18 months time I will turn 60… I recently came to realise that I need to be stronger if I want to enjoy the rest of my journey on this planet. So I sought out the help of Corinne 7 months ago with the hope of losing weight & gaining strength.
The greatest thing I have gained is an understanding of the nutrients and calories (energy) in the foods I eat and how the correct food can power my body & lose weight at the same time. I have learnt to eat foods which give me bang for my calorie buck – & I am surprised by how much I LOVE the healthier foods I am now eating.
This knowledge plus the mindfulness techniques which Corinne teaches has made me become more aware of my decisions in regards to eating & other areas of my life. I never thought I could change my eating habits, but I now have & know I will never revert to my old yo-yo dieting life.
I feel really comfortable working out in the home baseds & look forward to working out with the other girls who are all so supportive. I am so much stronger & enjoy my favourite hobby, hiking so much more now.
